Is this why they call these lights icicles?
So far in December, we've had over 2 feet of snow. What will winter bring? We were supposed to get 2-4" tonight. We already had over 6" by noon and it's still snowing! But the boys love it and it will be perfect for Chase to try out his new skis tomorrow (we'll have our little family christmas tomorrow before we head down to NJ on Saturday). Notice the 6 foot wall of snow on the far side of the driveway! Soon we won't be able to throw it high enough to get it out of the driveway! Oh, and before you get jealous about getting snow days... our schools were open today!

So you are leaving all that fun snow and coming to New Jersey. Can you bring some with you?

We have had about 10 inches so far. It has come a little at a time so it hasn't caused many problems. Our kids have had one late start. Otherwise I just drive the bus through the snow. As long as we don't have wind blown snow drifts life goes on. Enjoy your time with everybody.
All I can say is...I am jealous... Our icicles lights on our house are just plain stupid...what's the point? Although, to tell you how cold it has been here, this past thursday night we turned on our heat for the first time!!! It isn't on any more.

yes, it looks pretty, but contrary to Rob, I am not jealous of the snow! I don't mind at all not having to bundle the kids up to go outside, shovel snow or drive on yucky roads! But it does look like the boys were having lots of fun! Have a great Christmas in NJ!

That is a very cool picture and very cute kids. I am jealous too, I want lots of snow. I HATE cold weather but I love for the kids to play in all that snow and it is pretty. Too funny about the schools still being open though... maybe I'd change my mind then!!
